Developer simplicity​

Build upon technologies like HTTP and JSON that are widely adopted and highly familiar to developers.

User accessibility​

Allow users to teleport without installing any additional software. Teleportation should work out of the box with existing web browsers and VR clients.

Medium agnostic​

Scale across different medium for the Metaverse, such as VR / AR / MR, Web and Mobile.

Future extensible and backwards compatible​

As the Metaverse evolves over time and teleportation evolves over time, MHTTP needs to have room for extensibility, while striving for backwards compatibility.
