Quickstart
Fast track to create, use and share your portal according to the MHTTP open standard.
What you learn
In this quickstart, you’ll learn:
- How to create a portal without writing a line of code
- How to use your portal
Create a portal
Go to MHTTP’s portal creation tool and submit information about your website or virtual world.
Create your account to save your portal.
You will see the My Portals page, including the portal you just created.
Click the Preview link to check out your portal placed in a sample virtual world.
Use your portal
Drive user traffic to your portal’s destination by embedding your portal in other sites and virtual worlds you operate. You can also ask your friends to embed your portal in their sites and worlds.
Go to My Portals, and click the “Embed” icon of a portal.
Follow the embed instructions for each platform (Web, AFrame and Roblox). We are working hard to support more platforms all the time.
Done. In the website and virtual world where the portal has been embedded, you should be able to see the portal rendered, ready for user interaction and user teleportation to the portal destination.
